Introduction
- Therefore we must from time to time or constantly check the kind of mind we have on any subject of Living.
- This includes Exceeding Grace which is the grace of giving. Our mindset will determine whether we find or increase in this grace.
- This Bible says as a man thinks in his heart so is he your heart and mindset determine who you are and what you do.
- Even your speech is determined and conrolled by your herat and mind.
- It is important for me to remind you that a person is transformed by the renewing of his or her mind.
- If things must change in your life it begins with your mind. Rom 12:1-2
- So if you are going to have greater manifestation of Exceeding Grace in your life. There is a kind of mindset you must have.
- What are these Mindset you must have for greater Manifestation in this Grace
- The Mindset that Exceeding Grace or Grace of giving is a Service
- 2Cor 9:12 says "For the Adminstration of this Service not only supplies the needs of the saints. Ut also abounding through many thanksgiving in God"
- It is a service unto God, HIs Kingdom and humanity.
- What is Service? 1. It is the act of helping or doing work for someone
- The supply of a need.
- Eph 3:10 says "we are God's workmanship created in christ Jesus for good works which God prepared before hand that we should walk in them"
- In Lk 17:7-10 the Bible makes us to understand that if you have a servant that should seve you and not the other way round.
- We are to serve God and not the other way round
- When you see your giving as a service to your God the good master you will do it consistently and with Joy.
- The Bible said in verse 10 "So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all these things which are commanded you say we are unprofitable servants: We have done that which was our duty to do"
- So Exceeding grace or the grace of giving is a duty.
- May you be on duty all the time in giving.
- The more you do this Service the more heaven will service your life. Amen!.
- The Mindset that Exceeding Grace is a Keyway you can Proof your Ministry Love.
- 2Cor 9:13 says "While through the proof of this ministry".
- It means that if you are not a giver you are not in ministry or your ministry and profiting cannot appear to all.
- You want greater rearmfestation of your ministry then increase and abound in his grace of giving.
- Giving is a proof of your Love, Obedience and faith.
- In Gen 22:12 the Bible said (Gen 22:9-18) "And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do then anything unto him; for now i know that thou fearrest God, seeing that thou hast not with held thy son, thine only son from me" In verse 18 God responded again and said "And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice" Giving is one of the key ways to obey Go'd voice.
- Jam 2:14-18 makes us to understand that giving is a proof of our faith.
- In verse 15-16 the Bible states "If a brother or sister be naked and desttitate of daily food, and no one of you say unto them Depart in peace br ye warmed and filled; not withstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works is dead being alone".
- Some believers have dead faith for lack of giving.
- Their faith is stand alone. God did not make faith to be a stand alone
- Two is better than one the Bible says so our faith must be coupled or married to giving to be a living faith.
- We must proof our faith to belivers and unbelivers in giving. Gal 6:10
- We must have the mindset of powering our ministry by giving. Col 4:17
- The Mindset that nothing will real work except by Prayer and supplication.
- 2Cor 9:14 says "And by their prayers for you who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you"
- The devil will fight the grace of giving in your life. Therefore you must have the mindset to wedge war against and power that is against your giving grace.
- IN Zech 12:10 God said he will pour upon us the spirit of Grace and Supplications so this grace of giving must go with much prayers for preservation and growth.
- Please note you can grow in the Land of giving and this cannot come easy or without spiritual warfare.
- Mt 11:12 says "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of heaven suffereth violence and the violent take it by force"
- 1Cor 16:9 says "For a great door snf effectual is opened unto me and there are many adversaries".
- The Bible of not giving starts from your mind and not your pocket.
- So when you are not giving check your mindset or your heart.
- 2Cor 9:7 says "Every man aaccording as he purposeth in his heart so let him give; not grudgingly or out of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver"
- You have to fight grudge against giving in your heart.
- And prayer directed upon your increasing in the grace of giving will be specidify answered by God blessing you in mny wys and through many people including those you do not know.
